Clear Guidelines for Refunds and Order Cancellations

At Decorete, we understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel an order or request a refund. Our policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that both our customers and our business are protected.

Refund Policy

Refunds are made under two cases only. We have established these specific conditions to ensure fair and consistent refund processing for all our customers.

  • Defective Items: In case purchased item has a defect not caused by an accident or misuse, and it cannot be replaced for any reason.

  • Cancelled Orders: In case order was cancelled before being in transit to the destination, and the order was paid for using credit/debit cards, except for pre ordered products (manufactured based on client request).

Important Note: In these two cases, the refund will be done only through the original mode of payment.

When Can Orders Be Cancelled?

Orders can be cancelled only when they are not in transit or shipped to the country of destination.

  • Before Processing: Orders can be cancelled if they haven't started processing yet

  • Before Shipping: Orders can be cancelled if they haven't been shipped yet

  • After Shipping: Orders cannot be cancelled once they are in transit

Refund Process

When a refund is approved, here's what happens:

Refunds are processed through the same payment method used for the original purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Bank Transfers

  • Digital Wallets

Processing Time

Refund processing times vary depending on your payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days

  • Bank Transfers: 3-7 business days

  • Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days

Exceptions and Special Cases

There are certain situations where our standard refund and cancellation policies may not apply:

Pre-Ordered Products

Products that are manufactured based on client request (pre-ordered products) have special considerations:

  • Cannot be cancelled once production begins

  • May have different refund conditions

  • Require special approval for refunds

Custom Orders

  • Could have restocking fees
